Mother,Ms.Huang Meide（黄美德女士） rests as she had finished the walking on her way of life within eighty six years, and brethren came from evrywhere internal for attending her farewell, and singing hymns on all the way to the place where there her cemetery locatid.Paul, the Apostle said: “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. From now on there is reserved for me the crown of righteousness…”Perfectly mother could say the same words, I think.
September 27th ,2010 was the day come to her resting, that morning I sat on the bed with her lying down, and singing hymns Rest For The Weary,All The Way,O That Will Be Glory,Shall We Gather At The River ?,Guide Me,O Thou Great Jehovah, Under His Wings, Home Of The Soul, and etc.I singing one by one,I singing while tearring, and singing while combing gently with my fingers to mother’s fine, soft, white and as silverwire hair. It was already not singing Hymn, but sobbing song, when I sang: “It comes the day for I’m willing to…” from the Refrain of Sweet By And By. I pull the box of paper handkerchief to more nearer, and do my utmost for putting up with my mind not to sob out, and continue singing with tears wipping, and had not stoped untill I never keep singing. Mother was especially composed at this time, and the spasm which attacked her from time to time seems no appears, I want sing continuely till the last minutes and seconds of her.
“There are hometowns for disciples on heaven originally” or “There is a place radiancer than the sun in midday,I can see it by believving even if it is faraway” ware the first sentences in Rest For The Weary, and Sweet By And By.The fine home on heaven is the everlasting home for mother and all Christians, and mother had seen it by believving from long ago, for God has prepared dwelling place for her, and reserved for her the crown of righteousness as well, for with faithfully she had sticked to the Word of God which she believed in such utmost difficult and compelled circumstances of that had no scruples about life, and in defiance of the security and danger to family members at the time when The ark was captured into the house of Dagon, and father had been thrown into prison for the beilieving in God, till we were moved in a big miscellaneous compound which was convenient to interfere, and even as well as mother herself had been put to the jail.
It was cald the Third Temporary Saint House by mother and the brethen to the small room in the big miscellaneous compound, there persistly every Sabbath in getting together for worshipping, in spite of being disturbanced and dispersed. It can be cald as the Original Saint House or Zion(锡安)to the Sabbath Church in the Street Hehou, and moved from the church to the small house which was piled with idols made in mud and wood can be compared to The ark with the symbol of God’s dwelling place was captured into the house of Dagon. Where ark stays, where there can be regards as God’ Saint House, and the small house at the street Laodong could be said as the first Temporary Saint House in the captured place, and here abbreviated as 1st Temporary Saint. The 2nd Temporary Saint was a place where could see the chuich Zion. The 2nd was a small house at the end and turn right inside the gate of neighbourhood courtyard at No.22 Hehou Street. As stepping in the stone door station and the wooden doorframe of the courtyard, there was the House, the Zion on the left, some sabbath afternoon with mother and the brethen, we were cald to sitting face the Zion on the cement platform of passageway which belongs to the left neighbers, for having a lecture subjected of Talking on the Heaven and saying on the Earth of which talking about some hot stars and cold stars etc. as washing brain by an astronomer. The number plate which marked No.22 Hehou Street was nailling on the wooden roof outside the door station, but it was the mail address for the 2nd Temporary Saint. Postcard came by father which sent from the captuered place of as a lion hollow faraway. We had got the most great deal of mails in the courtyard, and the postman would deliver them at the door of our small house. Except letters from father, but also mails with full of encouragement and consolation by grandma sent from Wenzhou. Words in letters between parents could only say about daily life, but words from Bible as : “as soon as its (the fig’s) branch becomes tender and puts forth its leaves…” to be copied it down to letters, and would not be watched out by the authorrities. And this sentence, as well as being the most favorite words for using as encouragement by grandma, from time to time she used this words for transmitting our good hopping on in the days when my parents were in captued.
It often couldn’t have peace and rest on Sabbathes in the 2nd Temporary Saint at No.22 Street Hehou, frequently mather was called to police substation on early morning, and couldn’t come home till eight or nine o’clock in the night. Mother always fasted on every Sabbath morning, prayed for the Saint Job, for the church in distress, and as well as prayed for father whom he was in deep suffering, for asking God bring him back to Homeland. Mother nearly hadn’t have meal on these Sabbathes, and food delivered to her always to be taken away for the prayying she prayed before she had the meal. It would not go so far as being taken on every Sabbath by some one from the police substatin or the residents’ committee, there was a man whom he delighted to come forward for doing such things as a volunteer, the man with pathological changes in his eyes, and was called Bai Yan Bao (White Eyes Baby), he had no job, and walked nearby as a vagrant, he always came on early Sabbath morning before the worshipping started, as for executting the law, carrying out and performing missions on behalf of the government, he did madly and bewichly for the government, not hesitated what he was, or never mind no any reward or benefit got from the task. It was even more illegal according the law now, and we could only did not to respond, but could also to report to the police. While those ones as real law executor, they were not came on evey Sabbath, and so far as came on early morning. And there were relative peace within the whole day then on Sabbathes before the meddler appeared. And except the trouble from the vagrant, but also some disturbance from few family members of the brethen, they too came on Sabbathes, for making trouble as smashing desk, chairs, benches and stools, and even all the utensils in the house. And the more lawlessly was that as soon as mother was taken away on the Sabbath, and the brethen were dispersed, children at teens from neighbourhood far away whom they were older than me would come for making troubles, these trouble-makers always turned the nightstool fall, then shutted the door and made it nailed as seall up with planks and nails. It was by this way that I was shutted in home which were dirtied all the day, and couldn’t go out or get any way to clean it. It was impossible for me to cook meal in such condition, and even got no appetite till mother came back at the night. And more anxiously was that I worried about my mother, worried if she would to be suffered too much there, and as well as worried about that if she were not to be letted to come home.. Even, I was not dare to light a lamp while the day was getting dark and the night came, for I worried about that it would get even more unsafe if some one aware of that there was only one child in the house, only silently I standing at the door for listenning to if there were any happenings, I always waitting for long long time, till I heard the sound of mother’s steps from the gate station far away, then the more clear the more near, untill she arrived out the door of our home. Mother whom she came after the whole day sufferring had to pry the door, for she could come in, and the door was not looks as a door after it had been nailed and pried repeatedly. I had not sobed while I waitting for mother, but my eyes always wet and wiped before mother came in. So far as mother wouldn’t tear for that circumstances, even though mother and the whole family of us were went through The Tearring Valley which started from the day when my father began to be imprisoned For God.
The 1st Temporary Saint located at No.19 of the Lane Laodong(labor), and its only a road as separatting between the house and the high wall of Captured place with heavily guarded. The separatting road was the Lane Laodong, its very wide, it is said that was a lane, still is inferior to saying it was a road, and it was a road with several branches, and rightly these branch roads were lanes alike. Then in the high wall father was imprisoned there. The high wall, grey and dull, inserted with the pieces of glass on its top, had a small door near the end of the road, and there was a well. Over the well, there was a Bean Sprouts Room,a workshop for bean products ran by the state, and people linning up there on early morning before the daybreak, for buyying bean sprouts or bean curd. Every morning there came out prisoners from the door of the high wall of the jail, for carrying water. Sometimes mother brought me and led my more than two years younger brother took steps near the well and stood there a while, or went to the BSR for buyying the first layer bean sprouts Wing Tops with cents money, without tickets and the linning.Once brother rushed to the small door with crying: “I want go to see father! I want…”,and he was held out by guard soldiers in green millitary uniforms.
Its made me cann’t stop tearring was while I went to visit the farm where mother had been captured, and the woman director of the farm said that mother could come back home so long as she don’t believe in God, otherwise she shuld stay there all her life. The woman wanted me to assure for induccing mother to give up God, for as that she could let me see mother, I had noded my head for I could do nothing about it. When I saw mother, I couldn’t speak a word, only I was tearring, for its differed too much between young mother with white skin at the time when she was in home, and in front of me with full of wrinkless on her face, and hunchbacked too. I wanted to account loudly and interrogate for: “why did you cause sufferring to my mother like this? Return me young and beautiful mother!” Absolutely mother would not looks like that if she were not suffered the torments. And all the time mother was speakking words from the Bible when she saw me, while the director was sitting by side, horribly like a sits lion, I was worring about that the woman would becme aggravatedly to put even more sufferring to mother, but mother didn’t look upon the fierce director of the farm as a lion at all, the more she spoke the better vigours appeared to her, the sounds for her was sonorously and full of power, and her eyes brightenning brilliances solidly and faithfully. And as well as her face appears brilliances, from her unholding wrinkles on the face comes kindly and generously smile. Mother was preaching the Gospel of God, seedding the seeds of Gospel in such hard, dangerous and difficalt surroundings of which as hollow for lions. No matter fellow sufferers or directors of the farm, she would lead them to God, as the words which says in the Psalms at the Bible: “May those who sow in tears reap with shouts of joy.” Mother returned home with her sheaves, the seeds she sow had bumper harvest, and as well as got harvest from includding the seeds which sow to nearby the dwelling place which were concurrented as Temporary Saint at different corners of the town. The director of the residents’ committee whom she was the fiercest persecuter at that time, now the lady believes in God as well, and in the ones from the brethen families of which made troubles to the 2nd Temporary Saint on Sabbathes then, they are already as members in warmhearted brethen for a loog time.
Truly mother had fought the good fight for God!
